Company Overview

Whizz People Ltd is a UK-based digital service provider offering complete SEO and web solutions. Our services include technical SEO, digital strategy, content marketing, web development, performance optimisation, and site maintenance. We serve clients in the UK and globally, across industries ranging from e-commerce and SaaS to media and local business sectors.

As a digital agency, we are primarily service-based, with our team composed of in-house staff, vetted freelancers, and third-party technology partners. We do not produce physical goods or operate in high-risk sectors, but we acknowledge that risks related to forced labour, unethical outsourcing, and modern slavery may still exist in digital service supply chains, particularly through offshore or freelance work arrangements.

Our Ethical Commitment

Whizz People is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and human dignity in all areas of our business. We do not tolerate any form of slavery, servitude, forced labour, child labour, or human trafficking within our own operations or those of our suppliers and partners.

We believe all individuals have the right to fair working conditions, clear terms of employment, and freedom from coercion. We integrate this commitment into our operational policies, procurement decisions, and project delivery standards.

Business Structure and Supply Chain

Our internal team is based in the UK and operates under UK employment law. However, as part of delivering complete web solutions, we may work with external developers, content writers, marketing consultants, hosting providers, and software platforms — some of whom may be based internationally.

While our supply chain is lean and primarily involves knowledge-based services, we remain alert to risks in outsourced or freelance arrangements, particularly when engaging partners based outside of the UK, the EU, or countries with strong labour laws. Our supply chain also includes third-party SaaS tools, cloud hosting services, and analytics platforms used to support client projects.

Due Diligence and Risk Assessment

Before engaging any new suppliers, freelancers, or external contributors, we conduct informal due diligence to assess their legitimacy, business practices, and ethical stance. This includes evaluating their online presence, client reputation, and, where applicable, confirming that they meet basic standards of employment, pay, and working conditions.

We prefer to work with individuals or entities who can demonstrate ethical business practices, operate within regulated jurisdictions, or are referred through trusted professional networks. Contracts and project agreements with subcontractors and freelancers include terms to prevent exploitation or unfair labour use.

Employment Practices

Whizz People employs staff directly with clear contractual terms, legal protections, and flexible working conditions. We ensure fair and prompt payment, safe and respectful workplace practices, and do not engage in any activity that could be deemed exploitative.

We do not employ anyone under the age of 18 and all work is undertaken voluntarily. Our team members are encouraged to report any concern, including suspected unethical conduct, and we offer a direct line of communication to senior management for such matters.

Training and Awareness

Due to our business size, we do not yet provide formal training across all levels of the company. However, key staff responsible for procurement, project management, and external hiring are fully aware of modern slavery risks and their obligations under UK law.

Our leadership team stays informed of ongoing developments in ethical supply chain management and incorporates risk awareness into business decisions.

Monitoring, Reporting and Future Commitments

We continue to review our policies, suppliers, and project partners to ensure ongoing compliance with ethical standards. If any concerns arise about the treatment of workers in our supply chain, we will take appropriate action, which may include ceasing the relationship, conducting further investigation, or reporting concerns to relevant authorities.

As we grow, we intend to formalise our supplier evaluation process and implement written policies that strengthen due diligence and documentation. We will also review this statement annually and revise our internal policies as needed.
